The Alpine Gimlet
Crisp, clean and beautifully simple, the Gimlet is a timeless gin cocktail, and this Alpine Gimlet gives the classic a fresh mountain twist. Made with Gindu Alpine Gin, a fresh spirit inspired by the cool air and native herbs of Australia's high country, it balances zesty lime and a touch of sweetness against the gin's crisp, botanical backbone. An optional dash of green Chartreuse adds a herbaceous, alpine-meadow depth for those who want to go further. Sharp, elegant and refreshing, this gin Gimlet recipe is the perfect cocktail for warm evenings and anyone who loves a clean, citrus-forward serve.
Tasting notes
Bright, zingy and razor-sharp. Fresh lime takes centre stage, balanced by just enough sweetness and the crisp, juniper-led botanicals of Gindu Alpine Gin. A whisper of green Chartreuse, if you add it, brings a cool, herbal complexity that echoes the gin's high-country character. Shaken hard and served ice-cold in a coupe, it's a clean, invigorating cocktail that's all about freshness and balance.
